Since Squarespace's platform doesn't provide direct API integration, we can't connect it directly with SEObot. However, there's a practical workaround: using WordPress as a bridge.
Why WordPress?
Squarespace has built-in WordPress import functionality via XML files
WordPress offers robust API support
It's a reliable intermediary for content transfer
Maintains formatting and structure during the transfer
Implementation Process:
Set up a temporary WordPress site. Choose a cheap and easy-to-set-up provider. More info: WordPress Hosting and Best Managed WordPress Hosting Compared (2025)
Connect SEObot to publish to WordPress in
Menu -> Connect my Blog -> WordPress.org
Export from WordPress:
Go to WordPress Dashboard
Navigate to Tools > Export
Select "Posts" in the Export options
Click "Download Export File" to save the XML
Import content into Squarespace
Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Import/Export
Select "Import" -> "WordPress"
Upload your WordPress XML file
Wait for import to complete (may take several minutes)
Review and organize imported content in Squarespace
Limitations:
Real-time automation isn't possible
Manual export/import required
While not ideal, this solution provides a functional way to use SEObot blog posts on your Squarespace site.
