How does backlinks feature work?

Each new article earns one backlink credit - not a guaranteed backlink.
Credits are a bonus and are not part of your paid plan deliverables.

Note: By using this feature, you agree to allow dofollow links to be placed in your own articles.

How it works

  • Enable: Menu → Settings → Backlinks → Build Backlinks

  • Earn credits: 1 new article = 1 backlink credit
Credits are not issued for articles created before July 24, 2025.

  • Requirements:

    • Connect your CMS: Menu → Connect my Blog

    • Posts must be synced and published

  • Consent: You allow dofollow links to be placed in your own articles.

What does a backlink credit mean

A credit permits us to try to place one relevant backlink to your site from our article pool. It does not promise that a placement will be found or when it will happen.

Limits & expectations

  • No guarantee: Some or all credits may remain unconsumed.

  • Relevance first: If your niche is specific, we may not find suitable posts.

  • Pool size: Our article pool is limited and changes over time.

  • Timing: Matching and placement can take a long time.

Examples

  • Publish 10 articles → earn 10 credits → we’ll attempt up to 10 placements if relevant opportunities exist.

  • Very niche site → 20 credits → 0–few placements until matching content appears in the pool.

Important

Getting credits doesn’t equal getting the same number of backlinks. Credits are attempts, not obligations.
