What is Taxonomy?

SEObot uses a custom taxonomy explicitly built for your website to keep headline topics focused and relevant. You can delete or disable less relevant categories or add new ones.

Think of taxonomy as boundaries within which SEObot works when suggesting blog headlines.

If your taxonomy is irrelevant and needs regeneration, then update the information about your website through Menu -> Settings -> General & Target Audience.

The most important fields are:

  • Summary

  • Blog Theme (significant for headlines) - be specific and explicit in describing your blog's focus and which topics should be avoided.

  • Key Features and Benefits: Describe your product/service in detail. We strongly recommend that you add a FAQ.

  • Pricing (if applicable) - describe plans with pricing. You can use Markdown or plain text.

  • Target Audience Summary (the Target Audience tab).

If you think your taxonomy requires regeneration and have already updated the fields mentioned above, please let us know, and we will regenerate it.
